As a Latin American woman in mathematics, I have been fortunate to receive the guidance of outstanding mentors. I strive to pay this forward by supporting younger generations, fostering community, and advocating for under-represented groups in STEM.
I am currently co-leading one of the Women in Mathematical Physics 3 research groups, which mentors early-career researchers and fosters collaborative networks within the mathematical physics community.
I served as Vice President (2022–2024) and Speaker Series Co-Chair (2020–2023) of the Association for Women in Mathematics Student Chapter at the University of Oregon. In these roles, I organised talks and informal lunches with prominent women and gender-minority mathematicians, creating opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to share experiences and ask questions.
